Capital Fund

Capital Campaigns are launched when major purchases of land, buildings, or specialized equipment are needed, and monies received are placed into a special Capital Fund.

Our last Capital Campaign took place from 2007 to 2008, for the purpose of building a new high school campus. The campaign was terminated in September, 2008, due to the economic downturn. Enough money was raised, however, to pay off the mortgage note ($252,000) in May, 2009 on our twenty-acre Quincy Avenue parcel.

The prior campaign (1997-2000) was successful in raising $630,000 of the $682,000 needed for the construction of the Media Center/Science Lab building, and the partial purchase of 20 acres of property in 1999 for a future high school site.

As a result, our Media Center houses an extensive library and up-to-date computer lab.  Among other necessities including an adjoining science classroom, our Science Lab boasts quality lab stations, a chemical storage and staging area, as well as extensive resources for experiments.

The development and construction of a new high school campus is on hold at this time.  A new campus has long been a dream of the board, staff, students and parents, going back over quarter of a century. The school has made three definitive attempts to build during this time period. In God's infinite wisdom and timing, the dream has yet to be realized.

Believing God desires the school to have its own campus, Turlock Christian is accepting gifts toward the construction of a new high school campus. The school continues to wait upon the Lord for His direction.
