Our college-bound high school students take the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), administered by the College Board.

TCHS students who took the SAT in 2008-09 averaged the following scores:
Critical Reading = 518; Math = 521; Writing = 497; TOTAL = 1536

SCHOOL
Turlock Christian High School is an independent, private, non-denominational, co-educational Christian high school. The student enrollment is 179 in grades nine through twelve. There is a 1:18 teacher-student ratio.

FACULTY
The high school staff is made up of thirteen full and five part time teachers. Instructors participate in on-going staff development which includes content area and instructional methods.

CURRICULUM
There are seven class periods meeting every other day for a total of over 64,020 minutes of instructional time.  The minimum graduation requirements are 240 credits for grades nine through twelve. Each class receives five credits per semester. Each semester is an accumulation of two nine-week quarters.

Turlock Christian High provides the general education that is the basis for college preparation and future employment. Students following a college preparatory plan meet University of California entrance requirements. The following is a list of required classes for graduation.
