Prior to coming to TC, Mr. Glenn was a teacher and then moved into administration, serving as the Principal within the Winton School District. He brings the following credentials and experience to TCS: Masters in Education and Masters in Psychology; Administrative and Life Teaching Credentials; Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist; and Associate Minister of Counseling. Mr. Glenn is well respected and known within the Christian community and has served the Lord faithfully throughout his career. He resides in Turlock with his wife, Sue of 41 years. Mrs. Nelson has been with TC for over 30 years. For the first 25 years, she was an executive secretary for the JH/HS Campus. Mrs. Nelson then retired for a few years and later returned to work in our JH/HS office, ensuring academic transcripts and records are kept current and accurate. Mrs. Nelson also oversees curriculum ordering, and works alongside our Athletic Department in sports uniform maintenance and ordering.

He has been teaching in Christian schools for eight years, prior to which time he served as a corporate executive in the insurance industry for over 20 years, which also included corporate management instruction. Mr. Heckler has also served as a Stephen Minister in his church, ministering to individuals in the community experiencing crisis situations.

Mrs. Hernandez teaches English 8, English 11, and English 12. She originally was hired by former principal, John Nelson. After teaching for awhile, Mrs. Hernandez went to work with her husband at State Farm Insurance. Wanting to return to teaching part-time, she was once again hired by Mr. Nelson as a part-time history teacher, which has now led her to teaching English again. Mrs. Hernandez is so happy to be back!

Mrs. Kringle teaches JH Math I, JH Pre-Algebra, and HS Computer. She also teaches Computer at our Elementary Campus.

Mrs. Piper teaches Bible 10, Bible 12, HS Boys Athletic Study Hall, and Health. Mrs. Piper is also the Senior Advisor.

Mr. Tanis teaches JH Art, HS Art, HS Design, HS Photography, and HS Yearbook. He is also the advisor for the Samaritan Club. Visit our Samaritan Club page for information regarding this club. Mr. Tanis has a B.A. in Art from CSU Stanislaus, an M.F.A. in Art from CSU Fullerton, and also received his Teaching Credential in Art in 2008.
Favorite Bible verses are Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Philippians 4:13: “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”
