 Retailers want to help non-profits like TCS with rebates, so they created a program where they sell gift cards at a discount to non-profits like TCS, participating families buy these gift cards at face value, and this all translates into savings for our school and TC families!
In Other Words... Scrip is "Substitute money" from local and national merchants in the form of gift certificates and gift cards that are used just like cash, purchased at dollar-for-dollar value, but sold to TCS at a discount. From everyday expenses like food, clothing, gas, eateries...to specialty items like theaters, hotels, vacations, car rentals, and online retailers, Scrip can be used to purchase just about anything, while earning a percentage of each dollar of Scrip purchased!
Because Scrip is national, the possibilities are almost endless! Everybody makes purchases, so instead of cash or checks, use Scrip, and everyone wins ~ the retailer (because they have your business), you (because you can receive tuition credit - see below), and TCS!
 However, with all programs, it only works if you use it!!
How do I Participate?
- Just order and use Scrip...it's that easy!
- Use Scrip for regular household purchases you would make anyway! In this way, the participants produce revenue by simply using Scrip.
- Scrip is popular because families don't have to sell anything.
- Because Scrip is an on-going, year-round fundraiser for TCS, it can be purchased anytime.
What is the TUITION REDUCTION PROGRAM and how does it work?
 The Tuition Reduction Program allows our school families to receive tuition credit through Scrip purchases. In order to receive tuition credit, you must have either your child(ren) currently enrolled in TC or be supporting a currently enrolled TC family. TC shares a percentage of the scrip profit and you choose one of the following for your remaining credit: Tuition credit for your family or another TC family, TCS, Scholarship Assistance, or Family Service Fellowship.

You can order anything that's on the Order Form, this website, and Great Lakes Website - the national scrip company from which we order. New vendors are added all the time, almost daily!
Place your One-Time, 1st or 15th of the Month Standing Order (memorized orders). Submit an Order Form to any campus, or contact Karol. Please note: order must reach Scrip Office on Order Date by 9am, so when dropping off Order Forms at any campus other than the JH/HS Campus, keep in mind inter-office mail does not reach Scrip Office until after 11:30am. Please drop off Order Forms a few days before the Ordering Date to ensure your Scrip order is delivered to you when you need it.
You can expect delivery for One-Time Orders within 1-2 weeks, or sooner if available through on-hand inventory. Standing Orders will be filled and delivered based on Order & Fill Dates.
One-Time Orders, as well as on-hand Scrip (which may be picked up at any time), requires payment at time of order. Standing Order payments are due within 7 days of receipt date.
Scrip can be picked up at any campus or mailed to your house.
Call your family and friends and invite them to use Scrip! Usually, Scrip certificates do not expire and can be used nationally, so this increases your savings potential!
Be careful...certificates/cards are treated as cash and cannot be replaced nor re-issued.
Please note...because you receive dollar for dollar value, Scrip purchases are not considered donations nor are tax-deductible. |
